What Are Veneers?
A veneer is an ideal solution for those looking to improve their smile and self-confidence! Crafted from porcelain and designed to replicate the look of your natural teeth, this minimally invasive procedure can correct orthodontic issues and resolve any damage that has been done to your tooth. Veneers also have the added benefit of protecting the enamel of your tooth by providing it with an extra layer. Give us a call at Floss Dental of Magnolia today to set up a consultation.

What to Expect From the Veneer Placement Process
Consultation
As soon as Dr. Mike Tran determines that your teeth are healthy enough for veneers, he will discuss your cosmetic goals with you.
Shade Guide
To blend in with your natural or surrounding teeth, your veneers will be matched to the shade of those teeth.
Enameloplasty
Using a dental drill, we will remove approximately .5 mm of enamel from your tooth, which is the equivalent thickness of the veneer.
Impressions
In order to make your veneers, impressions of your teeth are taken and sent to a dental lab for creation.
Fabrication
During this appointment, we will bond temporary veneers to your teeth while we wait for the dental lab to design and create your veneers.
Placement & Bonding
Upon receiving your official veneers, we'll check how they fit and look before bonding them to your teeth.
What Can Veneers Fix?
Stained Teeth
Veneers cover up tooth stains and discoloration by bonding a porcelain shell several shades lighter than your natural teeth. The tooth-colored veneer will last for 15 to 20 years, compared to getting your teeth whitened several times a year or every few years. Because veneers are opaque, they can cover even severe discolorations.
Did you know…
Porcelain veneers are the most common type of veneers but they can also be made out of composite resin.
